Lucy Barrett – Artistic Director/Director

As Artistic Director and Director I have had the role of both contributing to the overall artistic choices and leading the members of the company to create a high quality performance. I have therefore collaborated with the creative team in ensuring that the lighting and staging reflects the genre and artistic aim I wished to create.

Our production of ‘The Trial’ strives to create an energetic, playful and thoroughly enjoyable performance for our audience and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have exploring and creating the adaptation of this brilliant play.

Alex Harvey Sporle – Actor/Asistant Stage Manager

I’m lucky enough to have roles both on and off the stage in STAMP Theatre. As well as being a performer my second role is assistant Stage Manager. In this role I will assist the Stage Manager in the sourcing of props and building of set, as well as completing risk assessment forms. I will also work as a member of the Technical team and assist the Lighting Director in the production of the Technical Documents.

Stuart Scott – Actor

Hello, I am Stuart and I am playing the lead role of Joseph K in the company’s  production of The Trial by Steven Berkoff. It is a great pleasure to be playing such a unique role in such an excellent play; but an even greater pleasure to be working with such a talented bunch of people on such a friendly and tight team. I hope that with the collaboration of the team STAMP Theatre can bring you a great and memorable theatrical experience.

Rebecca Ward – Actress/Marketing and advertising

Hi there ! I’m Becca and I am both proud and privileged to be apart of the STAMP theatre team both as an actress and working for the marketing and advertising team. Throughout the process my jobs have included assisting the marketing and adverting managers in the development of promotion and distributing information for our performance, as well as researching into our target audience. Along side Caitlin, I have assisted with the filming with trailer as well as organizing our sponsorship from Decon Design who have kindly assisted with the design and print of both programmes and fliers.

Being a part of STAMP theatre has been an unforgettable experience, working with such a talented bunch! We hope you can all come along to the performance to really see all our hard work come together in the performance!

Alex Watson – Producer/ Producer

As both dramaturge and producer, I maintain a close relationship between the team and STAMP Theatre’s sources. This allows me to oversee the creation of the overall ‘product’, and maintain that what our director Lucy and our actors create is easily transferable onto our venue’s stage. I also allocate and oversee the company’s work offstage, including marketing and finance, and administrate relations between our contributors.

The company is striving to bring an excitement and energy back into contemporary theatre through forms of the past that we all appreciate, which makes what we do public and personal, new and old, and focused and playful.

Caitlin Clark – Actress/Marketing and Advertising

Hi I’m Caitlin and I am a Marketing Assistant and actress for STAMP Theatre! My main jobs include cooperating with both the Marketing and Advertising Managers to plan what we are going to create to advertise to our audiences, what audience demographics we are going to target, and how to distribute our advertising to get our performance work seen. I will also be helping in creating and editing our promotional features, for example a teaser trailer and posters.

STAMP Theatre is an extremely interesting company to be a part of, and as well as performance I am extremely keen to attract more and more audiences to our production!

Emma Huggins – Actress/Lighting Director

Hi, I’m Emma and I carry two roles within STAMP theatre. I am an actress in the upcoming production of The Trial, by Steven Berkoff, and I’m also the lighting director. My post as lighting director upholds various requirements including providing venues with the appropriate technical documentation to light our show. These documents include, a focus sheet, a magic sheet and an overall lighting plot. I am looking forward to being a part of STAMP theatre; a collective of people who share the same or similar ideas on theatre and who are keen to put on a great, energised performance.

Larrissa Oates – Actress/Stage Manager

In STAMP Theatre Company I have the privilege of having a role both on stage and off. As Stage Manager I have to organise rehearsals, source props, help with the building of the set and make sure the stage is set up correctly before each performance. The role also includes maintaining a positive relationship with the venue workers by ensuring all needed paper work, such as the Technical Requirements form, is sent to the venue in advance allowing for an easier transaction into the performance space on the day of the production.

It has been an honour to work a long side such amazing people who each share my passion for theatre and the desire to make STAMP Theatre a successful company.

Tom Cliff – Actor/Marketing and Advertising

Hello, I’m Tom and I am an actor in STAMP Theatre Company, I am also a member of marketing and advertising. My role on marketing is to ensure that our potential audience have all the information they could possibly need about the show from filming trailers to flyering, I’m also happy to lend a hand to other departments when needed.

I feel privileged to be a member of STAMP Theatre and work alongside some of Lincoln’s brightest students in creating an innovative performance that will be both invigorating and electrifying!

Sian Bateman – Actress/Finance and Budget

Hi everyone! Within STAMP Theatre I have the privilege of acting on the stage whilst simultaneously being financial manager. My role includes creating our budgeting plan and controlling expenditure as well as being an extra hand for any assistance in other departments of the company! In addition to this I have been given the opportunity to perform a variety of character’s within Stephen Berkoff’s ‘The Trial’.

It has been a pleasure to work with such a hardworking group of people, who are all equally dedicated to reach our goal of theatrical excellence. I will certainly look back upon my time with STAMP Theatre as a challenging yet rewarding experience!

Joe Pope – Actor/Marketing, Advertising and Costume

Hello everyone! I’m Joe and as well as being an Actor in STAMP’s performances, I’m also the Marketing Manager. My main job roles include: monitoring and analysing marketing trends, studying our competitor companies to see what we can do to improve our own company and I identify target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them. I find STAMP to be a theatre company that makes courageous decisions which leads to innovative performances.
The chance to work with a group of like-minded people who care about preserving the same aspects of theatre that I love is what drove me to become involved with STAMP Theatre.
